Kathryn M. Heintzelman -
BBA, Grand Valley State University 1983
President
Kathy started Heintzelman Accounting Services, Inc. in 1987 and has over 30 years accounting experience; including 20 years in the public accounting field. Kathy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. She is a member of the National Society of Accountants and the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs.

Karen L. Terpstra -
BA in Accounting, Hope College 1982
Accountant
Karen has over 30 years experience in accounting (public, non-profit, real estate, and for-profit) as well as tax preparation. She is a licensed E. A. (Enrolled Agent) since 1989. Karen specializes in payroll, 1099's, tax preparation, set up and execution of new client's databases, assisting clients with their accounting needs and procedures, and whatever accounting challenges come her way! Accounting can be FUN!

Danette A. Vander Ploeg -
BA in Advertising, Grand Valley State University 1994
Support Staff
Danette graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising. She has over 15 years experience in office administration and has been with Heintzelman Accounting Services, Inc. for six years. She provides support in the areas of basic accounting services, database development and maintenance, and general administrative responsibilities.

Melanie D. Willis -
Associates in Accounting, Stratford Career Institute 1999
Accountant
Melanie has been with Heintzelman Accounting Services, Inc. since 2000, bringing with her eight years experience in accounting and tax preparation. She graduated with a degree in accounting in 1999. As Heintzelman Accounting’s primary tax preparer, Melanie also specializes in assisting clients, in a variety of industries, to set up, simplify, and maintain their bookkeeping or accounting system.
